West Dunbartonshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Early Learning Childcare Officer to join our team at Balloch Early Learning and Childcare Centre.
Contributing to the provision of a safe, caring, and stimulating nursery environment for all children.
- Supporting and implementing a relevant curriculum in line with national and local guidance.
- Planning, recording, implementing, and evaluating suitable programmes of activities.
- Maintaining and recording children’s progress and assessments.
- Experience working with pre-five children in a relevant setting.
- A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to change.
Candidates must hold the NNEB (or modular equivalent), or HNC in Childhood Practice, or SVQ2 Social Services (Children and Young People) or SVQ3 in Social Services (Children and Young People). Requirements This post is considered a Regulated Role with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.
