About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating current geographical issues.
* Plan and deliver lessons that foster problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and geographical understanding, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fieldwork and GIS.
* Assess student progress through fieldwork reports, presentations, and written assessments, providing detailed feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum, integrating current geographical research and environmental issues, and participate in departmental planning.
* Organize and lead fieldwork trips, geographical investigations, and environmental projects, promoting student engagement and practical skills.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong Geography subject knowledge, including human and physical geography, and GIS.
* Experience teaching Geography to A-Level, with focus on both theory and practical applications.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills to inspire students of all abilities.
