FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Tendering Coordinator based in Aberdeen for a 6-12 month Maternity Cover Contract, working full time hours and starting ASAP. Supporting the wider Tender and Business Development teams, the role will act as a key interface between various internal and external stakeholders to prepare effective and commercially viable proposals. Main duties include: • Prepare effective proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities • Assist in the compilation of RFI’s and tenders • Tender design, formatting, referencing and proofing • Ensure final tender submissions are accurate, complete, and meet deadlines • Assist in marketing activities and attend any events related to the role • Support the business development efforts on services, new products and technologies • Research client and market information in support of key client pursuit plans Suitable candidates should have the following: • Prior experience in a similar tendering / proposals focused role within an industrial sector • Ability to adapt to and learn technical details to understand client requirements • Highly organised approach, able to coordinate various activities at a time • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience working in fast-paced environments and against time constraints • Keen attention to detail • Experience working with Microsoft Project (desirable) Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
