Role: Temporary Communications and Engagement Coordinator - Bradford

Salary: £30K (pro rata and paid hourly)

Contract length: Now until September

Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday

Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment is recruiting for a national utilities business to communicate and engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, building trusting relationships to support the company's relevance and ambitions.


Responsibilities:

1. Engage digitally with customers for the capital programme, prioritizing customer focus.
2. Champion the customer in all capital projects.
3. Create engaging content and communication plans for the comms and engagement team.
4. Manage paid social media campaigns to promote local capital schemes.
5. Develop content supporting customer experience initiatives.
6. Contribute to the wider comms and engagement strategy for the capital programme.
7. Create video content to visually communicate the importance of investments.
8. Assist the comms team with research and agency collaboration.
9. Write content for various channels about asset investments.
10. Support audience insight and measurement efforts.
11. Utilize social media listening tools for customer engagement.
12. Stay updated with industry trends and news for content opportunities.
13. Identify and escalate potential issues, collaborating with the wider team to mitigate.
14. Work with the website team to develop web content about capital schemes.
15. Create internal newsletters to update colleagues.
16. Support projects across the Brand team with content development and technical support.
17. Assist with broader content and copywriting initiatives as needed.


Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience in a communication role.
2. Videography and content creation skills.
3. Presentation experience to various group sizes.
4. Strong relationship-building abilities.
5. Experience working in similar roles, either in-house or via agencies.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and design software.
