Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced Site Civil Supervisor to manage and coordinate all Builders’ Work elements on-site. The role involves leading subcontractors, ensuring work is executed safely, to specification, aligned with approved drawings, and in compliance with QA and Health & Safety requirements. This role supports programme delivery, trade coordination, and readiness for final architectural finishes and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
• Package Leadership
• Lead and coordinate Builders’ Work subcontractors daily.
• Ensure work aligns with approved drawings, project specifications, RAMS, and ITPs.
• Conduct daily interface meetings and progress checks.
• Monitor resources, plant, materials, and productivity; escalate deficiencies.
Technical & Construction Coordination
• Review construction drawings and cross-trade interfaces.
• Identify discrepancies, missing details, and clashes; raise RFIs as required.
• Coordinate Builders’ Work with M&E trades, structural works, finishes, temporary works, and logistics.
• Ensure accurate execution of openings, penetrations, blockwork, supports, fixings, chases, sleeves, and fire-stopping allowances.
• Support redline drawings, as-built updates, and change impacts.
Quality Assurance
• Execute Builders’ Work according to ITPs and QA requirements.
• Conduct inspections and maintain detailed records.
• Ensure all completed activities have supporting evidence (photos, checklists, test certificates, survey records).
• Raise NCRs or Quality Observations and track close-out.
• Assist in preparing QA handover documentation.
• Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
• Ensure subcontractors comply with site H&S rules, RAMS, and CDM requirements.
• Conduct safety walks and close out observations.
• Ensure correct PPE, barriers, signage, permits, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with H&S team for high-risk activities and stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
Planning & Progress Reporting
• Monitor daily progress against look-ahead and master programmes.
• Identify delays, clashes, or constraints; escalate and propose mitigations.
• Prepare weekly progress summaries with photos.
• Report Builders’ Work readiness for other trades.
Interfaces & Communication
• Work closely with Construction Manager/Site Manager, M&E team, Civil Design Engineering, QA/QC, H&S, and Quantity Surveyor.
• Maintain a real-time Builders’ Work tracker showing task status and interfaces.
Key Deliverables
• Daily coordination with subcontractors.
• Up-to-date register of all Builders’ Work tasks.
• Correct QA documentation for Builders’ Work activities.
• Weekly progress reports with photos, look-ahead, and risks.
• Updated RFI tracker and drawing updates.
• Closed-out H&S observations and compliance evidence.
• Area readiness confirmations for MEP and finishing trades.
• Handover documentation for Builders’ Work package.
