Job Title: Course Manager - Animal Management

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Course Manager with experience in curriculum management and teaching to join our Animal and Equine Curriculum team at our Wakefield Campus.
This full-time (37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri), permanent role is a key position working year-round to ensure operational excellence and educational quality. While the role spans the breadth of Animal Management, candidates with equine experience are encouraged to apply, though this is not essential.
We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for overseeing daily operational matters related to curriculum delivery and performance for students on our Level 2 and Level 3 study programmes across Animal and Equine. Sector experience and knowledge in animal and/or Equine, education and curriculum management will be highly beneficial, alongside a strong working knowledge of the associated industries.
The successful candidate will manage student course operations and deliver excellent lessons whilst maintaining compliance and quality assurance processes in line with college and awarding body expectations to help drive achievement and progression targets. Working alongside the curriculum team and Curriculum Team Leader, the Course Manager will ensure the curriculum and its delivery meets the needs of students, employers, and the community, in line with the college's strategic goals.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
