About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the daily operations of a residential construction site. Reporting to the Construction Director, you'll assist in ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Assistant Site Manager:
Support the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities
Monitor build progress, quality, and safety compliance
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and external parties
Maintain site records, including health & safety and quality checks
Ensure timely ordering and proper storage of materials
Promote safe working practices and compliance with regulations
Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and meet targets
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in the housebuilding sector is essential
Experience with a PLC developer
Good understanding of NHBC standards
Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
Valid CSCS Card
SMSTS certification preferred
Full UK driving licence
NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision (or willingness to train)
