Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client based in Ballyclare who are recruiting an HGV Dismantling Team Leader to join ther mechanics team.
Duties
1. Oversee all daily operations within the used parts business related to heavy goods vehicle dismantling
2. Ensure accurate pricing of goods and timely invoicing upon departure
3. Oversee the quality checking and washing of goods before departure to maintain high standards
4. Ensure prompt removal of waste from the site and proper invoicing for waste disposal services
5. Ensure completion of depollution records for each vehicle
6. Completing the site diary checklist daily
7. Supervising the completion of Internal Branch Transfers (IBTs) for goods and their distribution to other depots
8. Updating delivery driver sheets with accurate information
9. Ensure all outbound orders are processed and completed on time
10. Ensure that all workshop sales are properly invoiced through the MAM system
11. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organized site
Essential
12. Mechanical knowledge of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV's) is essential
13. Previous experience of HGV dismantling or working within this environment is highly desirable
14. Previous experience of supervising/leading a team would be advantageous
15. Knowledge of depollution processes and health and safety regulations would be desirable o Familiarity with inventory management and invoicing systems
16. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
17. Attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation
18. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
19. Possess a full, valid driving licence
