Junior Estimator/Estimator

£ Negotiable salary + full company package
We have an opportunity for a Junior Estimator/Estimator to join our expanding Pre-Construction team based at our office in Greater Manchester.
We are a family run SME construction company established 40 years ago, financially secure with a strong pipeline of work. We work on new build and refurbishment projects around Greater Manchester and the North West in the education, housing and commercial sector with both public and private clients. Our projects range in value from £200k to £10 million. You will be responsible for specific tasks and projects where your responsibilities will include:
1. Working within the estimating department to aid in the production of / produce, high quality accurate estimates.
2. Pricing from first principles and sub-contractor quotation comparisons, presented in a legible, analytical and logical format for both new build and refurbishment projects.
3. Responsible for packaging up the tender documents, liaising with subcontractors to acquire quotations, preparation of accurate take offs and producing a full breakdown of pricing.
