Having previously advised on the appointment of their Clinical Director, Compass Associates are supporting a Veterinary Hospital in Cambridgeshire on a new clinical vacancy.

The Business:
A large veterinary hospital has got absolutely everything you may need to work on both general practice, and 2nd opinion cases. Digital x-ray, Dental x-ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy and Echocardiogram (ECG) all in house make diagnostics a breeze. We’ve a great relationship with DWR to get access to even more complex cases that require a CT Scanner etc. There is also specialist animal physiotherapy equipment, equipment for class IV laser therapy and extensive ward spaces – separated out for cats, dogs and exotics.
Plenty of consulting rooms for medical cases and 2 large operating theatres means you will have your own space for your cases, and have easy access to other surgeons for complex work. Some of our vets have GP and advanced certificates in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, ophthalmology and dentistry to name a few! If you’ve a specific interest, support is certainly available in house to hone, develop and become an expert in your field.
You:
All applicants must have a live MRCVS registration, with evidenced experience in either a small animal, first opinion practice – or following an internship in a referral setting.
We are flexible with our growth so any interests will be considered, with the right candidate well supported on their development, growth and training within this area. Those keen on the real mix of GP work are certainly still likely to be interviewed – we know not everyone wants to specialise just yet!
