Job Description
Our client, based in Bedfordshire, is currently recruiting for a Voids Coordinator on a 3-month temporary contract The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis with the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position, also offering 2/3 days working from home per week.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of construction, voids and maintenance, and ideally have experience of doing so in a housing association.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Providing effective administrative support and coordination for void properties to ensure that all customers’ needs are met
* Recording and maintaining accurate records of work within void properties
* Managing the voids process ensuring void turnaround times are kept to a minimum
* Ensuring void works are ordered accurately and within priority times
* Acting as the main point of contact for contractors, colleagues and residents regarding forthcoming and existing properties
* Liaising with customers to book in End of Tenancy inspections
* Liaising with contractors to ensure consistent and efficient void process
