We're working with a well-regarded secondary school in Slough who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join them full-time from September 2025. The school has a strong, supportive SLT, excellent behaviour systems, and a real focus on both academic achievement and pupil well being. You’ll be joining a collaborative Humanities department with great resources and a curriculum that encourages critical thinking and curiosity about the past. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4 Differentiate for a range of needs and abilities within a mainstream setting Mark, assess and report on student progress in line with school policy Contribute to department planning and wider school activities Support pupils to develop historical thinking skills and a passion for the subject ✅ Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs welcome) Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school Good classroom management and communication skills A strong understanding of the current History curriculum A positive, professional and flexible approach to teaching At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
