Overview
Do you love bringing people together, lifting spirits, and making meaningful moments happen? At CrossReach, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator to enrich the lives of older people through creative and therapeutic activities. You’ll plan and deliver engaging sessions from arts and crafts to music, reminiscence, or gentle movement tailored to individual care plans. You’ll also organise outings and work closely with the wider team to make sure each person feels included, valued, and supported. This role includes some evening and weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging activity sessions (arts and crafts, music, reminiscence, gentle movement) tailored to individual care plans.
* Organise outings and coordinate with the wider team to support inclusion and wellbeing of service users.
* Support service users in worship or spiritual practice in line with their personal beliefs, in accordance with our Christian ethos.
Requirements and Qualifications
* SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
* Strong organisational skills, motivation, and basic computer confidence.
* Respect for our Christian ethos and ability to work within it.
* Member of the PVG Scheme and registered with the SSSC (or willing to register before starting).
* Right to work in the UK (entitlement to work checks will be completed).
