DTN is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales leader to spearhead our European Weather Sales Team. Reporting to the Commercial Leader US & EMEA, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales efforts are aligned with our overall business objectives
What you will be responsible for:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, hire, coach, and mentor a top-performing sales team. Create a culture of continuous learning and development, focusing on individual growth and achievement.
2. Sales Pipeline Management: Establish rigorous pipeline hygiene practices to ensure accurate forecasting and predictable revenue. Identify and address bottlenecks in the sales process.
3. Go-to-Market Optimization: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine our go-to-market approach. Continuously evaluate and improve our sales methodologies and processes.
4. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to mid-market and enterprise segments. Set ambitious but achievable quarterly and annual sales targets.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the customer journey. Represent the voice of the sales team in product development discussions.
6. Budget Management: Create and manage the annual sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
7. Performance Management & Motivation: Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and celebrate successes. Develop incentive programs that drive high performance and reward top achievers.
8. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage CRM data and sales analytics to identify trends, optimize strategies, and track progress towards goals.
What you will bring to the role:
9. Experience: 7+ years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales management, with at least 3+ years leading mid-market or enterprise sales teams.
10. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, motivate, and retain high-performing sales teams. Proven success in recruiting and developing top sales talent.
11. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically, analyze complex situations, and develop creative solutions to drive sales growth.
12. Data & Analytics: Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
13. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships across departments and functions.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between 75,000 EUR and 100,000 EUR annually. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
