Overview
Shalam Thermoforming UK Ltd are looking to recruit a Thermoforming Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely. Working as part of the Production team, you will be able to develop your own skills and gain experience working for a well-established and growing business, with a great team to offer support and guidance.
Key responsibilities
Working on a 3-shift rotating pattern, and in a strong team environment, the Production Operator role ensures that the production and packaging of finished goods are completed against KPI's, whilst adhering to quality and hygiene standards to meet the customers' requirements.
* End of line packing – fast moving thermoforming machines.
* Product packaging and inspection.
* Movement of pallets as required.
* Maintaining work to quality and hygiene standards.
* Production of box, bag labels and production documentation.
* Verify compliance of product using approved quality procedures.
* Responsible for own and others' Health and Safety within the Thermoforming environment.
* General housekeeping duties.
Knowledge / experience
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience within Thermoforming is desirable
* Working as a team player.
* High level of quality control and attention to detail.
* Awareness of Health and Safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.77 per hour
