Practitioner Psychologist / Specialist Psychological Therapist (CBT) Band 7 | 12-month fixed term | Full time (37.5 hours) | East Brighton Join Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) and become part of the Sussex Eating Disorder Service (SEDS) — a specialist, multidisciplinary service delivering NICE-recommended care to adults with eating disorders across Sussex. About the role We’re recruiting a Practitioner Psychologist or Specialist Psychological Therapist (CBT) to provide specialist assessment and evidence-based psychological therapy in an outpatient setting. You’ll be well supported by senior clinicians and benefit from extensive training opportunities, including CBT-E, CBT-T and MANTRA. Previous experience within eating disorder services is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for clinicians with strong therapeutic skills, a collaborative approach and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. What you’ll be doing Delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapy for adults with eating disorders Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team across Sussex Developing and championing specialist interests (for example co-morbidities, families and carers, or transitions from CAMHS) Contributing to research and evidence-generating practice, including involvement in SPIRED, our innovative eating disorder research clinic Supporting service development informed by lived experience and carers The role covers Sussex and may involve some travel, with flexible and hybrid working options available to support work–life balance.
