JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Principal Engine Programmer, you will be a reliable solution finder, someone who can jump in with any problem while demonstrating collaborative leadership within our engineering teams.
You will need to switch between multiple threads and leverage your experience with complex codebases, taking ownership of core engine technology, bringing innovative solutions, and debugging challenging problems. We encourage you to expand your knowledge and help shape best practices across the team.
In this role, your ideas will be highly valued as you work alongside your Lead and Technical Director to shape and contribute to the team's direction. You should have a hands-on approach with a broad understanding of architectural systems and various technical systems to help the project reach its full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity to become a leader on an unannounced AAA title and influence the codebase not only for your project but potentially across Ubisoft. We offer the freedom to test your abilities, research, and implement innovative solutions within AAA game development.
