About the Role
Build a career where every day you help young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) achieve more than they ever imagined. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll be part of a warm, collaborative team dedicated to helping each learner feel safe, confident and ready to engage
What you will be doing
1. Supporting children and young people with SEND, including complex needs, to access learning and achieve personal goals
2. Assisting with engaging classroom, outdoor and enrichment activities tailored to individual needs
3. Providing emotional, behavioural and practical support to help pupils feel safe, valued and understood
4. Encouraging independence, communication, positive relationships and social development
What you will bring
5. Caring, patient and adaptable, with a genuine desire to help young people with SEND thrive
6. Resilient, positive and able to work collaboratively within a supportive team
7. A confident communicator who builds trust with pupils, colleagues and families
