Working for a leading Kent Legal firm, you will support colleagues across all branches with the storage and retrieval of archived files and documents. This role would suit someone who will flourish within a small team, has a keen eye for detail and is methodical and committed in their approach. Travel to other sites will be required on occasion, so you will require a full driving licence. Main Responsibilities * Attend branch offices as necessary for secure collection of closed files and original documents for transfer to Archives. * Prepare and process matter files and original documents for archived storage. * Maintain the Firm’s central internal archiving database. * Ensure files, originals and other documents held on site are always kept secure and arranged in a logical and methodical order. * Updating and monitoring the offsite storage company’s records system for file storage / retrieval / return. * Maintain a strong working relationship built up with the offsite storage provider. * Retrieval and secure delivery of urgent files and original documents to branch offices. * Keep the van clean and tidy; washing, refuelling and monitoring as necessary. * Monitor the roadworthiness of the van: tyres, oil, screenwash etc. Key Skills and Experience * A full driving licence is essential as travelling to offices is a requirement. * Experience of working in an office space wit...
