The Growth Company's (GC) Employment, Justice and Health team are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Employability Tutor to deliver a range of high-quality training services for unemployed individuals, supporting their progression into sustainable employment.
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging group and one-to-one sessions to help people build confidence, develop employability skills, and move closer to work. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about supporting others to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging training sessions that help customers progress towards employment.
* Design materials and courses tailored to meet the needs of different learners and employers.
* Deliver both group and one-to-one interventions, including inductions, assessments, and employability skills sessions.
* Identify individual learning needs and plan training accordingly to ensure each participant receives the right support.
* Facilitate sessions that build confidence, motivation, and job search skills to improve employability.
* Provide regular feedback to Employment and Training Consultants (ETCs) on learner progress and agreed actions.
* Evaluate and review the effectiveness of training sessions to support continuous improvement.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with audit and quality standards.

* A warm, approachable, and engaging communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with learners.
* Flexible in your approach and confident delivering sessions both in-person and virtually.
* Passionate about helping others overcome barriers and progress in their careers.
* Organised, with strong planning and time management skills.
Skills Required
* Recent experience delivering training to individuals with a range of needs and barriers to employment.
* Experience working with long-term unemployed participants or in adult education settings.
* Strong understanding of training frameworks and qualification structures.
* Knowledge of the customer base and issues affecting unemployed individuals.
* Good awareness of additional learning needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, or ESOL.
* IT proficient, with the ability to use systems, prepare materials, and record learner progress accurately.
