We're seeking an experienced Chef Manager who brings together culinary flair, operational leadership, and commercial awareness. This role goes beyond the kitchen, it's for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a diverse catering operation and is confident balancing food quality, people leadership, and client engagement. This is a high-profile role overseeing a diverse, street food bistro offer. You'll take responsibility for ensuring the outlet runs efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
Responsibilities
* Take overall responsibility for the end-to-end catering operation, covering kitchen, service, and commercial performance
* Lead, coach, and develop your team to deliver a consistently high standard of food and service
* Control food costs, labour, margins, and waste to meet financial targets
* Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and customers, responding to their needs and adding value
* Ensure all food safety, health & safety, and company policies are fully adhered to
* Maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency across all services
* Manage staffing structures, recruitment, training, and succession planning
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef with responsibility for a full operation
* A genuine passion for fresh food, quality ingredients, and well-executed service
* Confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and engage teams
* Strong ownership mindset with experience managing client relationships
* Solid commercial understanding, including P&L management, cost control, and KPIs
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
