Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year

Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join our team based in Chesterfield, East Midlands.

Roles And Responsibilities
* Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling and dispatching drivers.
* Monitor transportation costs and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
* Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
* Utilise logistics software to track shipments and resolve any issues.
* Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
Skills And Experience
* Essential skills: Customer service, logistics, computer literacy.
* Desirable skills: IT, supply chain, proficiency in Word and Outlook.
* Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* A valid driving licence is preferred.
