About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Leyland. In this role, you will prepare tenders, compile quotations, support commercial teams, manage workload, liaise with operational teams, and foster relationships to maximize business leads and support growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess tender/quotation conditions upon receipt and identify risk.
* Provide tender handover packs demonstrating strategy at tender stage.
* Account management of a diverse and often time-critical customer base.
* Review unsuccessful tenders and implement improvement strategy.
* Understand and support colleagues workloads for holiday cover.
* Ensure delivery and communication of a quality end-to-end process for the customer.
* Assist the commercial team on compensation event build-ups.
* Attend pre-tender meetings/events.
* Carry out other appropriate duties as assigned by your line manager.
Requirements

* Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office, and other business management systems.

What Else Looks Good
* NHSS 12a,b,c or d qualifications.
* Highways Permitting experience.
* Understanding of digital services and product deployment.
* Previous experience in traffic management or highway maintenance sector.
* Other formal commercial or business management qualifications.
