Job Summary
The Burlington Hotel in Sandown is looking for waiters/waitresses to join us for our busy summer season.
The ideal applicants should be presentable, reliable and be able to work week days, weekends, split shifts and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
* Take accurate food orders, communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
* Serve food promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and utensils throughout the shift.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that arise during service.
Experience
* Previous experience in a dining room setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Experience in bartending or catering can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly attitude with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
