Job description
Our client, a leading entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Office Manager - Technical Co-ordinator to join their team operations in Filton, Bristol. This is a 12-month contract position, with full-time on-site working requirements. The successful individual will be engaged in providing critical administrative support within a highly specialised sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Co-ordinating technical documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping
2. Assisting with the administrative tasks related to various submarine projects
3. Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication flow
4. Scheduling and organising meetings, including logistics and minute-taking
5. Maintaining and managing databases and filing systems
6. Providing general administrative support as required
7. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
8. Supporting other project-related activities as needed
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in administrative roles, preferably within the Defence and Security sector
10. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
11. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
13. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
15. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
16. Understanding of project co-ordination and documentation processes
