About the Role
This role is for a Senior Care Assistant to work day shifts, 36 hours per week.
The successful applicant will need to be an excellent team player. Other tasks to be carried out throughout the day are liaising with management, residents, family members and external Health and Social Care Professionals, documentation, supporting and supervising staff, administering medication, personal care, entertainment, and assisting with meals.

Key Responsibilities
* To liaise and communicate daily with management team
* Deliver and provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents
* Support and assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
* Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation
* Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns relating to the health of the residents
* Administering medication to residents
* Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing always
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to ensure the best outcomes for residents
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience working in a Senior care role or experience leading/supervising staff (essential)
* Has a minimum of a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (essential)
* Has an awareness and knowledge of dementia and how to support people with dementia
* Is kind, patient, respectful and empathetic with a genuine passion for supporting others
* Has good communication and teamwork skills and committed to delivering high standards of care.
* Can work independently and as a team during the day shifts.
* Is comfortable with personal care tasks
