Dental Nurse

A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to develop existing and new skills in our outpatient Maxillofacial department and working with our friendly and approachable team. You will support and deliver patient care to an exceptional standard.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure all Professional Standards and Trust Policies are complied with.
The post holder will work under the direction of the departmental lead to ensure that the Maxillofacial Outpatient Department continually provides a high standard of care and treatments to patients attending the department.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
* Registered with the general Dental Council
* NEBDN National Certificate/ Diploma in Dental Nursing or NVQ level 3 oral health care
* NEBDN Certification in Sedation & ILS trained.
Experience
* Experienced qualified Dental Nurse
* Experience of Orthodontics/Oral surgery
* Experience as Dental Nurse in Hospital/ community environment

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
