Are you looking to take the next step in your career supporting children in the classroom? We are currently working with several welcoming and inclusive primary schools in the Mitcham area who are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants from September 2025.
These roles offer a great mix of general classroom support and one-to-one work with pupils with additional needs, ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential – both academically and emotionally.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting class teachers across the school day with learning activities and routines
* Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEND, tailored to their needs
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
* Assisting with lesson delivery and adapting activities where needed
* Helping maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
* Liaising with teaching staff and the SENCO to monitor progress and adapt support
We’d Love to Hear from You if You Have:
* Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting
* A calm, caring and resilient approach to supporting young learners
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
* An interest in working with children with additional needs
* Availability for full-time work starting September 2025

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
