Job Overview

The Senior Recruitment Administrator plays a critical role in supporting and coordinating the end‑to‑end recruitment process across the business. Working closely with the Chief of Staff, HR Manager and Hiring Managers, this role ensures a professional, efficient and compliant candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.

As a growing consultancy, recruitment is central to our success. This role provides operational excellence in recruitment administration, ensures governance and data accuracy, and supports continuous improvement of recruitment processes, systems and reporting.

The Senior Recruitment Administrator will act as a key point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, helping to maintain high standards of candidate experience, compliance and employer brand.


Primary Role And Responsibilities


Recruitment Coordination & Administration

* Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment administration across all capabilities.
* Manage interview scheduling (including assessment days, panel interviews and senior stakeholder availability).
* Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR systems.
* Ensure all recruitment documentation is compliant with UK employment legislation and internal governance standards.


Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

* Act as a professional and responsive first point of contact for candidates.
* Ensure timely communication at all stages of the recruitment lifecycle.
* Support recruitment events (e.g., graduate assessment centres, university engagement).
* Uphold a high‑quality candidate journey aligned with organisational values.


Hiring Manager Support

* Provide administrative and process guidance to Hiring Managers.
* Support job description formatting and vacancy approvals.
* Track recruitment progress and ensure hiring timelines are adhered to.
* Escalate delays or process risks where required.


Data, Reporting & Governance

* Produce recruitment metrics (e.g., time‑to‑hire, source effectiveness, diversity data).
* Support reporting for leadership meetings and workforce planning discussions.Ensure GDPR compliance and secure handling of candidate data.
* Support audit requirements relating to recruitment documentation.


Secondary Roles and Responsibilities

* Support onboarding administration in collaboration with HR.
* Assist with recruitment process improvements and system enhancements.
* Support supplier management (e.g., recruitment agencies, background screening providers).
* Contribute to recruitment policy updates and documentation reviews.
* Support early careers and graduate programme coordination.
* Carry out other duties as specified by the Chief of Staff and HR Manager.


Essential


Knowledge

* Strong understanding of end‑to‑end recruitment processes.
* Working knowledge of UK employment legislation relevant to recruitment (e.g., Right to Work, Equality Act 2010, GDPR).
* Understanding of recruitment compliance and documentation standards.


Skills

* Exceptional organisational and coordination skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing deadlines.
* Confident communicator (written and verbal) with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Strong systems capability (ATS, HRIS, Microsoft Office).
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Process‑driven with a continuous improvement mindset.


Experience

* Previous experience in recruitment administration or talent acquisition support.
* Experience coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications.
* Experience producing recruitment data or reports.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced, growing organisation.


Desirable

* Experience within a consultancy or professional services environment.
* Experience supporting graduate or early careers recruitment.
* Experience organising assessment centres.
* Experience implementing or optimising ATS systems.
* Experience working with security clearance processes (e.g., SC clearance).


SC Clearance

This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and obtain SC security clearance. Clearance must be obtained without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role you’ve been recruited for. If it isn’t obtained, or is obtained but with caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role, any conditional offer made to you will be withdrawn. Obtaining SC security clearance can be a lengthy process, and we reserve the right to withdraw any conditional offer made if the necessary security clearance isn’t obtained within 6 months. If you hold dual citizenship or nationality from another country, please make us aware of this during the application phase. We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship.
