We are working with a leading name in the Passive Fire Protection sector who are seeking an Operations Manager to join their expanding team. With a strong reputation across the social housing & commercial market, this company delivers high-quality fire protection services, including fire doors, fire stopping and compartmentation, on a large scale.
Role Overview
As Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. You will manage client relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure operational efficiency across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee delivery of passive fire projects, with a strong focus on social housing contracts.
* Manage site teams of PM's, CM's, Site Management and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and in line with industry standards.
* Maintain compliance with fire safety regulations and company procedures.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, including social housing providers and contractors.
* Ensure effective planning, resourcing, and allocation of labour and materials across projects.
* Lead on health & safety standards across all operations.
* Produce project progress reports and liaise with senior leadership on performance and delivery.
* Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and quality.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as an Operations Manager (or similar senior management role) within the passive fire protection industry.
* Strong technical understanding of fire doors, fire stopping, and compartmentation.
* Track record of managing large-scale projects within the fire protection sector.
* Exposure to working with Tier 1 contractors is highly advantageous.
* Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
