Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll/Accounts Administrator with experience of working in a varied financial role to join our team. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and dealing with various payroll-related tasks and ensuring that all accounting processes are completed efficiently.
Duties to include
* The preparation and processing of payroll for all employees.
* Purchase ledger entries.
* Sales ledger entries/credit control.
* Banking and recording of transactions.
* Petty cash management.
* New employee processing/timesheet entry.
Requirements
* AAT qualification preferred or proven previous experience in a financial/payroll role.
* Proficiency in using accounting software (ideally Sage)/Microsoft Excel
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret payroll data effectively.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and employees.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
