About the Opportunity
It’s rare for a consumer business to need an in-house Real Estate support lawyer and even more unusual for this to be offered on a part-time basis (3 days a week) - this opportunity is the exception. The company has a large real estate portfolio and the role will be responsible for providing dedicated support to the company’s real estate team.
You will keep the team updated on any changes in real estate laws, you will manage and coordinate the database of legal precedent documents, you will collaborate with external law firms on best practice and the sharing of information. A key part of your responsibilities will be to manage and coordinate the outsourced real estate function, providing training and ensuring the international teams work effectively and cohesively.
About You
The position will suit a commercial real estate lawyer either with experience working as a PSL before or not (this is not mandatory.) A highly organised approach and the ability to maintain excellent oversight as well as knowing when to provide assistance, conduct training or advise on legal precedents is key. A keen interest in real estate in a consumer or retail setting is also key.
This is a unique opportunity and will suit a real estate lawyer who is looking to be part of a collegiate and tangible business on a part-time basis (3 days a week.)
Head office is Hertfordshire with time also in the City, certainly a hybrid working arrangement.
