As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day. Your Role as a Cover Supervisor (CS) Will Include: Managing the classroom and leading pre-prepared lesson materials. Supporting students with learning tasks and behaviour expectations. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Encouraging good behaviour and maintaining clear classroom routines. Always adhering to safeguarding and school policies. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.). Strong communication and organisational abilities. Confidence in leading a classroom and building rapport with students. A proactive, flexible, and calm approach to daily challenges. A degree or relevant qualification (preferred but not essential). An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
