Your role as a Driver
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure all daily checks are undertaken in line with company standards and legislative requirements, reporting any defects correctly.
* Complete all necessary paperwork on time and in full.
* Ensure all deliveries/collections are loaded correctly at temp and secure before leaving depots.
* Partake in pre & debrief process, ensuring traffic office is informed of any delays or incidents.
* Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, respecting other road users and protecting the reputation of the company.
* Ensure safe delivery & collection of goods, minimizing risk to self, colleagues, & the public by following company processes.
* Observe company rules, procedures, and policies at all times.
* Ensure that the work environment – units and trailers – are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
* Download tacho card in line with company requirements.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:
* Driver CPC qualification (or willingness to obtain, with our support)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience Class 1
