Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. You will be the first point of contact for our customers. Monday - Friday working hours pm. Saturdays are adhoc, we currently open every other Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm and on a rota.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Provide detailed explanations of services offered, including any additional services or products that may benefit the customer.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and transactions, including cash handling duties.
* Collaborate with technicians to communicate service recommendations and updates to customers effectively.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
* Ensure that parts are ordered promptly to keep the service process smooth between the service advisor and technician.
Experience
* Previous experience in a customer service role is essential, preferably within the automotive or mechanical industry.
* Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
* Proven skills in upselling services or products while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions accurately.
