Maintenance Electrician – Retail Contract

We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team, covering the Slough area and working on a key retail contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician to work with a well-established company and ensure the smooth running of electrical systems across multiple retail sites.
The Role – Maintenance Electrician
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across retail stores in the Slough area. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations, minimising downtime for our clients.
Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Electrician
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
* Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, providing quick and effective repairs
* Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety compliance
* Liaise with store managers and clients to provide updates on job status and any required works
* Complete all relevant documentation and reports in line with company procedures and compliance standards
* Work within Health & Safety guidelines to ensure the safe operation of all systems
About You – Maintenance Electrician
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, or equivalent)
* Proven experience in maintenance, ideally within the retail or commercial sector
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and the wider team
* Full UK driving licence
