City & County Graphics Ltd is a major supplier of signs and graphics to an ever expanding client base of national house builders. The final stage of the process, the one that is customer and public facing, is the on-site installation where safety, timeliness, accuracy and presentation are key. To facilitate this we use a combination of in-house crews and subcontractors who cover all areas of England and Wales which logistically is challenging and requires level headedness and clear thinking.
We are looking for a calm, reactive, methodical yet dynamic person to head the installation department.
This job has its quirks … we have to react quickly to client requests (sometimes seemingly almost impossible to fulfil) and overcome many obstacles put in our path to complete what should be a straightforward task. After all, we are just installing signs and graphics and yet unexpected issues are not uncommon which muddy the waters.
You should be comfortable working in this environment, able to schedule, communicate, react, direct and inspire our crews, work with all departments and ensure successful outcomes on every project.
The role will involve regular site inspections, constant crew interactions and briefings, upholding all safety guidelines and reporting back to the company with reports, recommendations and constructive reviews.
A knowledge of building sites would be advantageous (a CSCS card beneficial) as would experience in a similar role but mostly a clear headed, logical approach to a fast paced and ever changing environment are key to success in this role.
An initial salary of £55,000 is offered with good career prospects for the right candidate.
