Job Description
The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for delivering technical solutions across a range of projects and technical areas, and for guiding and checking the technical solutions of more junior Engineers as necessary, on time and budget, and in accordance with all relevant Engineering and Company procedures. The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer will be pro-active in determining the optimum technical solution for each project they are working on, and in identifying improvements which might offer advantages in terms of time, cost or safety, thereby allowing the Company to deliver work more effectively. The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer will be familiar with current practice and developments in their technical area, and will as necessary bring any new technology, innovation or relevant changes in legislation to the attention of the Company. The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer will also support the ongoing development of the policies and procedures of the Company and will identify any new tools, software or processes that could increase the efficiency of the Company’s technical delivery processes.

Knowledge, Experience % Qualifications:
• Experienced Engineer • Build effective working relationships at all levels. • Educated to a minimum of HND or Degree level. • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership. • Experienced people manager, and competent team leader. • Experienced negotiator and influencer at all levels. • Can communicate skills, knowledge and experience, and apply them professionally as a trusted expert, to explain ideas and technical information and discuss and resolve technical issues. • Act as an ambassador for positive culture. • Full clean driving licence. • Occasional flexible working required. • Occasional lone and/or home working required. • Some UK travel. • In-depth technical knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, guidelines. systems and processes
