Job summary Priory Hospital Dewsburyis situated in a community location in West Yorkshire. The hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness. We also provide a specialist neurocognitive/dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour. The hospital is split as follows: Hartley Ward rehabilitation and recovery for severe and enduring mental health Jubilee Ward neurocognitive/dementia service for those showing agitated or aggressive behaviour They both focus upon active rehabilitation and recovery for those requiring a bespoke package of care. Main duties of the job We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Psychologist to support individuals in achieving mental wellness and personal growth. Main Duties: Client Assessment: Conduct psychological assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and identify client needs. Therapy & Treatment: Provide evidence-based therapies to individuals, couples, or groups to support emotional and psychological well-being. Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each clients goals and challenges. Progress Monitoring: Track client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
