What You’ll Do
As a Youth Worker with Nurseplus, you'll make a meaningful difference by supporting children and young adults through complex and challenging circumstances. Your key responsibilities include:
* Providing direct support to young people facing issues such as homelessness, mental health concerns, or seeking asylum.
* Encouraging and promoting independent living by developing life skills and confidence.
* Building trusting relationships to offer emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs.
* Collaborating with social workers, mental health professionals, and other agencies to ensure coordinated care.
* Supporting young people in accessing education, training, or employment opportunities.
What We Need From You
* Must be aged 25 and over.
* Previous experience and/or qualifications working with children are desirable.
* The right to work in the UK.
* A good standard of English and effective communication skills.
* Must be a driver with a valid driving license.
