We have an opportunity within our Logistics Department for a Multi Skilled Operative.
The role is a full time permanent position working a continental shift pattern:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday 19.00 – 07.00.
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 19.00 – 07.00.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of equipment within the area of responsibility, ensuring the most effective return on assets with no detriment to the operation.
An overview of the role:
1. Understand and adhere to our Performance Management Systems and demonstrate Stateside Food behaviours
2. To carry out your daily duties as per ISO work instructions
3. Building effective relationships with all Stateside food’s employees
4. Developing employee engagement across the shifts and creating an Employer of Choice culture
5. Responsibility for identifying faults and continually improving manufacturing processes
6. Responsibility for carrying out checks and paperwork with no errors and communicating problems promptly to the Team Leader, with additional designated CCP’s.
7. Responsibility for setting up the coding line at every changeover
8. Picking stock and following the appropriate KPI’s for this task
9. MHE Operator, in house training will be given
10. To perform any other task that is of a reasonable request in line with the Logistics department
11. Working safely at all times and communicating safety concerns promptly to the Team Leader
12. Responsibility for 1st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area
13. Carry out good hygiene and housekeeping, ensure a clean as you go policy, all warehouse areas are kept to a high standard
14. Responsibility to ensure MERC and any other associated systems within Logistics is completed at the end of each shift
Ideally, candidates will have worked within a similar role, have good communication skills with the ability to problem solve.
An up-to-date FLT license would be preferred.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems would be advantageous.
