Senior Validation Engineer Description We are looking for a talented Senior Validation Engineer to join our Accelera team in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Defining and executing battery tests based on external standards and internal requirements and ensure equipment is available. - Specifying component builds for testing i.e. level of Instrumentation for standards and sub-system owner requirements - Liaises with and manages testing with external test houses, forms quotations, test plan reviews and completes test setup sign off - Responsible for component teardown and rebuilds post testing, working closely with the site operations team - Directly manages contracted engineers to execute the validation plan. Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need experience in the following: - Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred. - Leading the validation for development of new high voltage battery packs and develop team testing capabilities. Education, Licenses, Certifications: - College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required. - Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles. - This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. There will be a need for travel within the UK in order to support product testing at external test houses, as well as rare travel abroad.
