Working Details
* Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
* Location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN
Job Responsibilities
* Receiving, stripping, and assembling Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines to meet performance targets and quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining competitive advantage.
* Ensure all tasks meet quality standards and deadlines, aligned with customer, OEM, and company requirements.
* Work collaboratively within the production team to achieve optimal performance, focusing on Promised Delivery Dates (PDD) and Turn Times.
* Follow processes and procedures to perform tasks efficiently and uphold quality standards.
* Maintain positive working relationships and open communication within and across teams.
* Identify opportunities for process and team efficiency improvements.
* Adhere to the company's Confidentiality Protection and IT Security Policies.
* Discuss personal development needs with the Line Manager and pursue relevant training.
* Comply with the Quality Manual, CAA / FAA / EASA Management Organisation Exposition, statutory requirements, regulations, and company procedures.
Position Requirements
* GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths & English.
* Experience and education equivalent to required knowledge of gas turbine engines.
Experience
* Minimum of 5 years in the aviation gas turbine engine MRO industry.
* Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines is advantageous.
* Ability to maintain records and interpret overhaul manuals and parts catalogues.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
