A market-leading UK specialist in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is looking to recruit a motivated Mechanical Pump Engineer / Site Technician to join its external site teams.
This is a hands-on, field-based role working alongside an Electrical Site Engineer, carrying out installation, commissioning, servicing, and breakdown support of pumping and associated equipment across the UK. The role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working directly with customers on live sites.
The role
Youâll be part of a fast-paced external team delivering both planned and reactive works nationwide. Responsibilities include:

Attending nationwide installations and breakdowns as required

Servicing, repairing, and assembling pumps and pumping equipment
*
Working to a call-out rota, including weekends and bank holidays
*
Completing site reports after each visit and obtaining customer sign-off
*
Maintaining and improving company procedures where possible
*
Acting as a professional ambassador on customer sites
*
Promoting products and services where appropriate
*
Ensuring company vehicle, tools, and van stock are maintained
*
Identifying training and development needs
*
Working safely and in line with company Health & Safety policies
Working conditions
This is a site-based role covering customer locations nationwide. Flexibility is required to meet operational and client demands.
