Blown Film Extrusion Operator

Company: A leading packaging manufacturer.
Role: Working in a factory environment, we are seeking a skilled Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join our client. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art machinery to produce a range of high-quality films.
* Operate blown film extrusion lines to produce a wide range of flexible films, following all quality control procedures and company documentation (including safety protocols and operational guidelines)
* Produce films by setting up and adjusting machinery as per production requirements
* Utilise touch screen controls to monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operation
* Handle materials efficiently and ensure proper storage and organisation within the warehouse (following company policies and procedures)
* Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and managers to support and optimise production process and workplace efficiency
* Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings and any issues encountered during operations
* Keen eye for detail and continuous product quality control
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating blown film extrusion machinery is essential
* Experience working within a packaging manufacturer
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in the production process
* Happy to work shifts
