How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a Logistics Manager, you will lead distribution operations including receiving, inventory, shipping, team member relations, quality, and financial oversight of the operations budget. This role is critical to ensuring service excellence for our customers every day.
Main Responsibilities
1. Lead service agenda shipping and delivering on time and in full above 95%
2. Develop processes and adherence measures to ensure success around proper warehousing practices
3. Manage the financial budget and deliver annual cost-saving initiatives to enable growth
4. Develop leadership team including Logistics Manager I, Shift Supervisors, Wave Planners, and administrative staff to enable career growth and development
5. Build a world-class safety culture and program to ensure the safety of team members
6. Lead and participate in routine engagement activities to strengthen team environment and ensure all team members have a voice
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with Transportation, Planning, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Safety to deliver projects, productivity, and supply chain efficiency
8. Manage capital spend projects within scope and foster strong relationships with local and national vendors/suppliers
9. Achieving or surpass all KPIs around Safety, Service, and Savings
10. Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
11. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Business, or a related field
12. 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries, including shipping and receiving operations
13. Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor teams
14. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred; Oracle and JD Edwards also considered)
15. Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
16. Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
17. Understanding of regulatory requirements such as FDA, OSHA, WHMIS, and TDG
18. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
19. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
20. High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
21. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
