Overview:
A large non for profit organisation are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team and run the end-to-end procurement process.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow your procurement experience further
Role & Responsibilities:
* Working closely with suppliers to grow relationships and ensure contractual requirements are being met
* Ensuring value for money is achieved when deciding what supplier to choose for the project
* Being the 1st point of contact for contractors, both successful and unsuccessful in the process
* Liaising with internal teams regarding upcoming projects and procurement processes
* Ensuring the evaluation process is fair
* Updating Oracle for invoices and assisting suppliers with using Oracle
Essential Skills & Experience:
* 2+ years’ experience within a procurement position
* Experience using Oracle would be advantageous
* Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous
* An excellent communicator
* Hard-working and ambitious
* A team player who thrives when working with others towards shared goals
Package:
* Up to £270 per day (Umbrella rate)
