Location - Bangor

Working Hours - Relief - Pick up shifts, to suit your schedule.

Salary Information - £12.71 Per Hour

About The Role

As a Relief Support Worker at Positive Futures, you will empower individuals to live the lives they choose, offering flexible support across diverse settings. This dynamic role makes a profound difference every day.

Your day-to-day is varied and rewarding. You might cook a favourite meal, assist with weekly shopping, or explore local community activities. Beyond these, you'll support individuals in achieving personal goals, fostering independence and confidence. Building genuine relationships, understanding unique needs, and championing choice and control are central. This includes assisting with personal care, facilitating social engagement, helping with administrative tasks, and supporting key skill development.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing person-centred support, tailored to individual aspirations.
* Assisting people to develop essential life skills, including housing support.
* Promoting independence, social engagement, and communication skills.
* Undertaking necessary administration, such as accurate record-keeping.

Required Criteria

* Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone
* Basic digital skills e.g. to record notes and use rota, HR or care systems.
* Full, Valid, UK/EU/EEA Driving Licence to fulfil the needs of the role
