Pay & Hours
Competitive pay of £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience; part‑time roles are pro‑rata. A full‑time working week is 42 hours, but flexible hours (e.g., 9:00 am – 3:00 pm) can be discussed.

* Experienced retail manager to oversee daily shop operations.
* Ensures smooth running, maximises sales and minimises costs.
* Leads, trains and motivates a team with a hands‑on approach.
* Confident, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Excited to work in a fast‑paced environment and work efficiently as part of a team.
* Adaptable and able to solve problems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day running of the shop.
* Drive growth through increasing sales, controlling costs and delivering profit.
* Work towards KPIs including wage percentage, average sale, stock, wastage and energy targets.
* Lead, train and develop the team to high standards.
* Performance manage the team as required.
* Ensure sandwich and food production standards are high.
* Keep the shop clean, organised and welcoming.
* Maintain highest hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
* Provide outstanding customer service.
* Recruit new team members when needed.
* Receive and check daily deliveries.
* Manage shop stock and produce.
* Maintain shop displays.
* Have excellent knowledge of the products.
* Handle cash, till operation and banking.
* Open or close the shop when required.
