We are looking for a talented Regional Chef to join our team, bringing creativity, leadership, and expertise to support food development, events, and operations across our commercial businesses.
Purpose of the Role
* To develop and execute innovative food concepts across our hospitality and dessert operations.
* To support events with exceptional food preparation and delivery.
* To drive food quality, consistency, and innovation across the business.
* To inspire, train, and support chefs and kitchen teams across multiple sites.
* To contribute to the growth and reputation of The Pantry through forward-thinking food development and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Food Development & Delivery
* Create and refine menus across hospitality and dessert operations, ensuring innovation, quality, and cost efficiency.
* Develop recipes, allergy- and nutrition-compliant menus, and food reference documents.
* Stay ahead of current food trends to maintain a forward-thinking approach.
* Work across the business to collaborate and draw on others experience
Operational
* Ensure smooth delivery of food services at events and outlets.
* Support the mobilisation of new sites and projects.
* Maintain and develop food safety and compliance standards.
* Collaborate with procurement to enhance ingredient quality and sourcing.
* Support food preparation and execution at events and across sites.
People & Leadership
* Inspire, train, and develop chefs and kitchen teams to achieve excellence.
* Promote a positive, productive, and collaborative working environment.
* Lead by example, supporting teams across hospitality and dessert operations.
* Nurture, inspire and adopt a customer centric, positive mentality.
Business Growth & Engagement
* Work closely with senior management to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
* Represent The Pantry as a food ambassador and general ambassador for the company.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering outstanding service.
Skills & Experience Required
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
* Proven experience as a Regional Chef, Development Chef, or similar leadership role.
* Strong background in hospitality, events, or commercial catering.
* Creative flair for menu development, with excellent knowledge of current food trends.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Knowledge of food safety, compliance, and allergen management.
* Flexibility to travel across sites and events, including occasional overnight stays.
